Sophia Casanova is a New York native and world traveler. She spent most of her childhood in New York, and began her modeling career with the independent fashion line Mandate of Heaven located in Brooklyn, NY. Working with Mandate of Heaven she got her first taste of the New York fashion scene, walking in two shows for New York fashion week, and appearing in Nylon online. Sophia moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and signed with the agency Models International. Through MI she shot lookbooks for Pavonine and Lillian Shalom Jewelry, was the face of Maxine Dillon handbag line, and walked for Project Ethos during LA fashion week. During her stay in LA, Sophia also co-hosted a live game show called "The Fix Up Show with J. Keith Van Straaten." There she worked closely with celebrity guests such as, Tippi Hedren and Alan Thicke. Sophia also took part in several live performance art pieces with Los Angeles author and poet Kate Durbin. Sophia has recently relocated to Las Vegas, where she is active in convention show modeling with major clients such as, Goldwell, Redken, and Pureology.
